It was a very long weekend as my wife, youngest daughter and I drove out to Ft. Worth, Tx to see our future son-in-law graduate from TCU. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally glad we went and this was the first time we got to see them since he proposed so it was kinda cool. We also got to spend some time with his parents getting to know them a little better.
Aside from the horrifically long drive, 24 hours in three days, the only other down side was that we had to leave the pup at home. We arranged for my mom to come over and keep an eye on her and that turned into pup going home with my mom and staying there but, whatever.
At any rate, we're back together now and we couldn't be happier!
